Microsoft AutoUpdate Won't Update on Mac

I have a MacBook Pro with Windows 8 for Mac on it and every time the Microsoft AutoUpdate pops up with a critical update I click "Install" and then nothing happens. The update never installs. What's going on? What can I do to make the update install? Thanks!
