Got to work today to learn of malware on a system (Win 7). One of the guys here was trying to figure it out and the system had already been rebooted a couple times by this point. After logging off and coming back to the splash screen the font was messed up, almost like the file was missing. Can still hit crtl+alt+del to bring up login, but the user picture is blank and logging in fails with a few messages that I can't read. The malware was Win 7 antispyware 2013 (showed up as 2011 in system tray).
I used an older system (XP) to access the harddrive to grab a couple important files. I checked the fonts directory and all the fonts appeared to be there, but the folder did have a missing icon and in windows explorer the "address" bar tag and the name of the window on the task bar came up with the same messed up font. Rebooted the xp system without the win7 drive and it went back to normal. The messed up fonts on the XP system only happened while accessing the font directory on the win7 drive...

Hello

I don't think it is malware so I want you to go here - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1175-fonts-change.html

Go down to method 3 and there is a file to download I think that would be easiest

when you get the fonts worked out let me know and I will run some checks on the computer
