I dont see why. They squander their money on everything else, they might as well build a deathstar. time for a new petition I guess. . .

There's an engineer who put together a proposal to build the USS Enterprise, and which would be capable of interplanetary travel. There's also a Whitehouse petition, and I gotta say it doesn't sound as crazy as it seems.
