All of a sudden my computer has started to try to access the wireless modem with the 56k settings (which have all been removed and never dial set). I continually get error code 651. Now the wireless card is not listed in the device manager, and in the phoenixbios the slot is empty with an arrow by the word, "wireless." I have researched the 651 error to no avail (for many week), tried renaming the ppsssat file, etc.

The os is win 7, dell inspiron 14R N4010. From all of my research, it seems that this is a common microsoft error which they have chosen not to address with a fix it (or so it seems). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help!
