I recently went to listen to a CD and found that my computer no longer recognizes that it had a cd/dvd drive. The Device Manager lists it however provides the error message: "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)"

I'm not sure if it is the actual drive that is faulty and I should just replace it, or if it is a simple matter of updating a driver or something.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
