Hi there,

I'm new here + no pro.

Whenever I'm typing a URL in 75% of the cases i get redirected to some annoying website.
When I want to start my Microsoft Security essentials (which helped me delete the even more annoying ransom virus not long ago) it (MSE) pops up and then disapears (virus shuts it off I think, the bastard...)

I have Windows 7 and Microsoft Securit Essentials installed + not so happy at the moment.

Who can explain/advise me in human language so even a 7y old kid can understand ;-)

Thank you in advance !

3 ) ESET - '2 threats founds !' -> 'a variant of win32/ponmocup.FR trojan'

This virus 'works' in 32 bit environments but I have a 64 bit Windows ? And this virus or trojan horse has nohing to do with the fact that the URL is getting redirected.

...Now restarting pc...

...After restarting pc I started Microsoft Security essentials (it works again!!) and updated virus definitions. Now doing a full scan c:

My browser is not redirecting anymore so it seems that this ESET program did the trick.

If anything changes I come back !

Anyhow, a thank you - for now.
