My friend recently bought a HTC Radar phone which happens to be running Windows Phone 7.5. He wants to install apps on his phone.

The problem is his phone's internet connection is slow and the downloads of apps keep failing. So, he wants to download apps from the computer and install them on his computer. But he doesn't know how to do it.

So, can you tell me where to download free apps for windows phone 7.5 and how to transfer them to the phone?

Thanks!

First things first. To do so would require jailbreaking/rooting the phone and voiding any warranty. It's also not for the faint of heart or novice. If he still wants to proceed there are many forums and help sites dedicated to doing just that.

Take a look here for one example.

It's an imported phone which was under contract but unlocked. So, there is no company warranty. I followed your link and it explained how to unlock another phone, not HTC Radar. Any tuts for HTC Radar?

And by the way because the phone has already been unlocked by the seller can I install apps or is jailbreaking different from unlocking?
