Hi Folks,

I'm Seg45 and I came to Bleepingcomputer because of its excellent reputation helping people.

I've always been able to handle most Spyware with Spybot and Adaware but this Spyware Quake is giving me fits. I even deleted references in the registry but it keeps coming back. Being a 60yr old online gamer at heart I don't like to share my PC resources with bogus virus alerts etc.

So any help you guys can give to get rid of SpywareQuake would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance for you help!

BC has a self-help removal guide:

You can follow the step by step instructions and remove SpywareQuake fairly easily.
