I have a Toshiba NB-100 without a CD Drive. I need to format the OS - XP to a setting out of the box. I have the original Microsoft Windows XP home Edition Product Recovery CD that came with the laptop, however the laptop does not have a CD Drive. I tried copying the contents of the CD on a USB drive and then configured the laptop to boot from the USB drive, however it doesnt work. I even created a ISO but it does not work. Please help.

If I am helping you with a problem and I have not responded within 48 hours please send me a PM.

I read that and tried that before I posted in this forum. Problem is Unetbootin does not work. It loads the ISO on the flash drive and makes it bootable but when I plug the flash drive in the laptop, it gets stuck on the Unetbootin screen when it boots. It has a blue screen with the word 'default' and a 10 second timer which keeps looping. I can never get to the Windows recovery screen.

If I am helping you with a problem and I have not responded within 48 hours please send me a PM.
