I have an android phone (Razr max) and an android tablet and I'd like to use one basically as a remote sound card to hook up to my stereo and stream mp3's from my home network. I'd like to use the other device to control the first one (play, next, back, volume, etc) Is there any way to do this?

A few options if you search for them. iMediashare is one option I've tried. You can also look or ask at XDA Developers as they have a LOT of android support and development.
