Having trouble figuring out how to remove an extension for Firefox. There is no "Disable" button, probably because the extension is malicious and causes adware.

OS: Mac OSX 10.7
Firefox: 18

Any help would be much appreciated.

The first thing I would do is google "firefox remove extension name mac", no quotes, insert the proper name. Otherwise, go to this guide, section "Workaround 3". It seems slightly more complicated than the Windows procedure.
