When my brother-inlaw in Brazil tries to open a video file that is a Quicktime moving he gets the error message

"You've encountered error message C00D11CD while using Windows Media Player. We are investigating the cause of this error. We will post more information about this error when it becomes available


He tried to download Quicktime, buts gets errors, My WMP opens the file without any problems.

Any resolutions, thanks

Have him try using IE and clicking on a file that requires Quicktime.

or


Have him download the codecs that will allow other media players to play Quicktime files here:
