I just bought all the parts needed to build a pc. I got a cheap. XFX ONE 512mb DDR3. Part number is XFX1-STD2 if you wanna look it up.

well I have everything in the case and plugged in. When I turn on the power I hit the start button on my motherboard (Asus Crosshair V) and eveything boots up but I have no visuals through the HDMI cable. I do have the HDMI connected to a tv because I dont have a monitor and planned to use my tv for now.

My friend had the same problem, have you installed the latest drivers for your video card?

It had nothing to do with the drivers. I solved my problem. I had a really stupid moment and forgot to plug in the EATX12V power on the motherboard. soon as I did that it started right up.

Hi Wyzrd

I'm glad to hear you solved the problem and that the solution was inexpensive too. :)

Good Luck with Your new build
