Synaptics touchpad problem

Hi, I recently bought a Lenovo laptop but I'm having problems with the touchpad. It seems to work fine for a while, but eventually the gestures stop working. When I click on 'mouse' in the devices section of my computer I get an error saying 'Unable to connect to the Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and then asks if I have installed another driver (which I hadn't). Anyway, I downloaded a new driver from the Synaptics website, installed it and everything was fine again until I had the same problem after about 30 minutes. I repeated the installation again but after a while the same thing happens and it can't connect to the driver. Does anyone know why this is happening and if its possible to stop it from happening? Thanks.

If this is still under warranty, take it back and have them repair it.

We're not ducking any help for you, we don't want you to have any problems with your warranty.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
