Hi. I have an HP a1430n desktop PC running Windows XP 2003. As soon as I turn on the computer, the screen reads "Monitor Going to Sleep" and then immediately does so. I have tried to replace the monitor cable to no avail. I've followed others' advice and turned off the computer, unplugged the main power cable, replaced it after 20 seconds and then turned it back on - also to no avail. Does anyone know what I need to do?
