windows8 and linux mint

is it possible to have a running version of windows 8 as my main operating but some time boot to Linux mint if so what is the smallest distribution of Linux mint

Hello James, take a look at this: http://thpc.info/dual/win7/install_mint_inside_win7.html This article might answer some questions for you. I know it's a windows 7 installations but most everything that runs on 7 will run on 8 also.
