Hi There,

My laptop was often freezing upon first opening a program after start up - by freezing I mean that the mouse could move but clicking or keyboard shortcuts had no effect. This was common and would happen after 4/5 of start ups.
Turing the network connection off pre-start up results in the computer not freezing. However, subsequently connecting to the internet often (1/3) results in the computer freezing.
On the occasions it does successfully connect the computer freezes if it is unlocked after being locked by time out or closing the lid.
Curiously this problem has never occurred when using internet at the university but does occur when using the internet at my house.

Any help to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
