Today, when I got up to turn on my desktop, it started out fine, but the monitor wouldn't display anything, the light inside the computer stayed yellow, and you could hear a very loud whirring noise start up from the inside of the PC. I could open up the disc tray, but couldn't boot from a disc. Can someone help me?

~Sorry for the vague description.

Please post the make and model of this computer.

Where is this yellow light? Motherboard? Rear of computer?...

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I'm not quite sure where the light is coming from, but I can see the light inside the computer when I look down at the front. This light usually turns white after the computer successfully boots up, but it remained yellow.
I'm not near the computer right now, so I can't tell you the model (sorry!), but I'm currently running Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1, if that helps at all. I'll tell you the model as soon as I can.
