Hello anyone that can help.

My brother and I are home for the holidays and we can't get our devices/computer to connect to our families wi-fi.

The Toshiba Satellite shows wi-fi as "Limited" on the networks window. The laptop is running Windows 8.

The iPod Touch is a 4th generation. I type in the password as I have been told and it says it is unable to connect to the network.

Any help is appreciated!
