Hi All,
I am pretty new to computers and....well...kind of up there in years. Sometimes keeping up with all this computer stuff is overwhelming, hopefully an old dog can learn new tricks : ) Anyhow, can anyone recommend a site with basics on computer terminology? i.e. regedit, vs script(?), dos commands (or something like that. I took out computers for dummies, but I think it would be easier for me to follow some online tutorial that I can play & replay or reread. Any suggestions from basic to a little more advanced links? Sometimes I read the Microsoft notes re: errors I receive, but well its like a foreign language to me. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Karen, welcome to bleepingcomputer. You're not alone, wondering about TERMINOLOGY. It's a pet peeve of mine, and it's probably because I'm advancing in years as well, and spent more time with English learning than I have with Techie-English learning. Learn you will.

We are all curious like a cat. We wonder, we ask, we learn.
Please post back when a suggestion works, so that others may learn.
