Hi,

I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas. I understand the basics; such as Apps, Books, etc. However, it also allows internet access, email and so on. Do I need a firewall or virus protection?? If I do need these what would you recommend?

My fail-safe advice: Keep everything backed up to your PC. Worst case scenario, you can restore.
If I am helping you and I haven't replied to your thread in 3 days, please PM me or bump it
