Its more of an ISP phone filter and cable connection problem. Have them check/test the lines going to your phone and modem/router. Depending on how often you get disconnected (which you failed to provide), your ISP provider would give you insight of any current maintenance undergoing or some upgrades which are sometimes not reported to customers.

This would prove that its either the router, phone filter, lines or your ISP provider end's fault.
I look at the router the "internet" light is off.
