Not sure how to word this but basically my router keeps having problems. For no apparent reason it will suddenly show a yellow exclamation mark, and if I look at the router the "internet" light is off. Only thing to do is reset the power, and problem is solved, until next time... Any ideas what is causing this? I have the exact same problem on 2 different routers, set up on 2 different ISPs. Please help :(

Router is a Zyxel P660HW T1 v2 on a DSL line. I also used to have the same problem on a Huawei router in a completely different house and with a different ISP, so I feel like it should be a quite common problem, yet can't find any information online so far :(

Its more of an ISP phone filter and cable connection problem. Have them check/test the lines going to your phone and modem/router. Depending on how often you get disconnected (which you failed to provide), your ISP provider would give you insight of any current maintenance undergoing or some upgrades which are sometimes not reported to customers.

Hmm, I'm not sure. It happens A LOT. I'm not online all the time but I could guess it happens at least 5-10 times in a day, unsure if it happens more often when I am using though. Do you really think that could be it?

I look at the router the "internet" light is off.

This would prove that its either the router, phone filter, lines or your ISP provider end's fault.
