I have a HP Pavilion dv6636nr entertainment notebook. My laptop began shutting off because of overheating about 4 months ago. Yesterday, it happened, and I was fed up with it, so I decided to disassemble it and clean the fan. Well, I disassembled it down to the keyboard panel. After removing that, I used a can of compressed air and blew the dust off the fan. I reassembled it the way I remembered it, and when I cut it back on, the screen was black and stayed black. It beeped as usual during start-up. and I heard the disk drive sound off. Everything was normal except the screen was black. I don't think anything is wrong with it. I was very careful with it during the dissembling and reassembling, but I don't know what to do. Please help. Thanks.
