Ran into two websites that use a "snowing" effect due to the season and all, but the CPU usage goes through the roof on these for some reason. I got adblock on and running and this is just something realy minor, but I was wondering if there was any way to block this sorta thing/make it not start.

Hello -
Is there a chance that you can list the 2 sites first, then we can have a look at them ??

Thank You -

Hi -
Site content is not related to the question here, as long as the link is not porn -

The "snow effect" is extremely minimal from my viewing of that link (XP SP3 & Win7SP1)), and in no way detracts from the shown content.
Do you have the CPU problem normally, or is it just starting now ??

I do understand your request for an option to reduce it, but it is in no way able to be reduced from your end.
The site has added this as background and (in a minor way) to the foreground of the site, just as decoration -

Personally I think this will be taken down within a week as soon as either ther is a complaint, or the holiday week is over -

Just my personal observations -
