'ello! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a program that would convert a .exe program to either a .bin, .dat, or .hex. (Essentially, I want to be able to open up my .exe program in a hex editor.) If anyone could tell me how to do this, it would be greatly apprecitiated.

What windows version do you have?
We are all curious like a cat. We wonder, we ask, we learn.
Please post back when a suggestion works, so that others may learn.

This is what hex editors are designed to do: Open an executable file for editing.

What is a hex editor?

A hex editor is a program which allows you to edit raw programs and data-files. These editors are called hex editors because they most often present data in hexadecimal format.
