Since I finally got fixed what was wrong why my gaming comp I want to re-upload all my Sims 2 games to it. I know for a fact that Base to Apartment life will work just fine on it because it has before. However, I recently brought four stuff packs(Holiday, Glamour,Family Fun, and Celebration),but they have not been tested on my gaming comp and so this is where my question lies.

Will Base to Apartment with those four stuff packs work well with these specs.

Operating System
32-bit SP3
CPU
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
Venice 90nm Technology
RAM
1.00 GB Single-Channel DDR @ 157MHz (2.5-3-3-7)
Motherboard
NF4-SLI-INF 20 C

256MB GeForce 6800 GS (XFX Pine Group) 81 C

This is the new store brought comp I was playing the Sims 2 from Base to Seasons on along with the four stuff packs. However, graphical issues has forced me to go back to the above computer. However, I would like to take a stick of ram from this one and put it in my gaming one. Basically I want to use the store brought one for Netflix, YouTube, general surfing the web but nothing else, and the gaming computer for the Sims 2,but I want to know if It can spare a stick of ram without messing up the overall performance?

The 1GB of RAM on your gaming PC is a big bottleneck. Throw in at least 4GB and it should run much smoother

Hello fantasy09;

ram from new one will not work in the old one. According to the specs for your mother board listed at this site http://www.comx-computers.co.za/DMB-DFI-NF4-SLI-INF-specifications-12414.htm , you need PC 2100, 2700 or 3200 memory. you can find memory at several sites if you want to add more. here is a link from newegg.com for 2gigs of ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007611%20600006040%20600006085%20600006065&IsNodeId=1&name=2GB%20%282%20x%201GB%29&Order=PRICE&Pagesize=20 .

Other option as listed in your other topic, is to replace the power supply and put a video card in new machine. the new machine is the better computer by far, just needs a little more help. Hope this helps.
