I'm running Windlows 7 64-bit and had been using Google Chrome as my browser. While online with Chrome my computer would freeze forcing me to do a hard shutdown. It doesn't matter how long I'd been online or what I was doing. This only happens when I'm online. I've tried Microsoft Support's fix for "Windows hangs or freezes" without success.

I've spent a fair amount of time searching for information on this without any real solutions. This is surprising in view of the large number of people having the same problem with Windows 7 and Chrome.

Has anyone here had this problem and been able to resolve this problem?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I've been experiencing this, too, and it's driving me nuts. This seems to be something that Google and Microsoft is mostly ignoring.

You might try the solution that's in the video linked to this article. As it turns out, it didn't apply to my situation, but it may to yours.

dc3 and Mark

I had the same experience with this and I reset my user profile

Here is a tutroial on how to do that http://evansims.com/6425/resetting-your-chrome-user-profile/

When I was trying to fill out my Application for a job whenever I login to edjoin.org it would simply crash now that problem doesn't pop up after i did that.

I was given a copy of AVG anti virus for Christmas, I uninstalled the Avast Free which I had been using and no longer have any problems with Chrome freezing. Go figure...
