I get a screen once in awhile that says the computer will close now due to
Wuaboot error.

Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks, jharvey

From what I've read this is from Windows Critical update notification. Go to Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and remove this. I've found nothing good said about it and you should manually check for critical updates yourself anyhow. Personally, I don't care for things happening in the background without my knowledge anyhow. Especially since the Internet in Ireland is charged by the minute unless you have broadband (which I finally got) or some other expensive package.
