On the new iTunes 11, what happened to the slider on the right side of the screen when 'Music' and 'Songs' are selected? It is now almost impossible to get to the bottom of a large database (15,000 songs). I have seen this slider appear and disappear at different times but now I never see it. I have looked everywhere but I am not able to find an option to make it show up. Any suggestions?

Addendum: The slider just appeared out of nowhere. I did nothing and I'm terribly confused.

noknojon, thanks for the links.

Based on quite a bit of feedback, I don't think I'll be updating my iTunes anytime soon...it sounds like a mess.
