Hello everyone,

I've been reading through quite a few of the forum posts over the last couple of weeks. It seems I've had a bit of a malware/rootkit issue and I decided to join the site. Maybe I'll finally be able to get my issues resolved. I'm usually pretty good with virus/malware removal & cleanup but with the new variants of rootkits things are becoming more complicated. It makes more sense to seek the advice of a team of experts. I gave up trying to get this thing wiped out. I'm going to be BOLD here and predict that the end of the world won't happen on 12/21/12 but I do think that as technology keeps progressing it is only going to destroy itself. I see the end of the DIGITAL AGE approaching. Yeah, I know that is pretty heavy but think about it. With the advancement of rootkits today (BIOS and firmware capable infections), pretty soon we won't have to worry about nuclear, chemical, or biological warfare. Practically everything we rely on today is digital. An all out DIGITAL war is what is going to hurt us the most. Major disruptions of banking, supply chains and entire economies could occur as a result of an all out digital attack. Just some food for thought.

Thanks for listening,
