I am having problems with all sounds on my PC. I started having this problem after installing SP3 I uninstalled it and I still do not have any sound. Daughter goes to school online and has to have audio to do her school work asap. Anyone have any clues on what could be the problem???

One simple check:

Go to start, right click in My Computer, and click on Manage.

Then select Device Manager and see if there's any yellom mark.

I yes, and that yellow mark is in Audio Controler, the problem may be a corrupted driver.

Right click in the audio device and select uninstall. Then select Action and "check if there's hardware changes..."

(Wording may differ a little because my OS is not in English)

Hopefully this will re-install the sound driver and quickly solve the problem, if the problem is a broken driver.
