Hello All,
Please let me know if this is in the wrong place, my apologies if it is.

I was cleaning up my kids' laptop (my old one, but still a goodie).
I was successful with 99% of the junk on there.
One dang toolbar is eluding me, it is called "PDFssoftware".

My steps so far:
1. Used Control Panel to uninstall junky apps.
2. Ran ADW junk remover.
3. Ran a quick scan with Malwarebytes (16 objects found and cleaned).
4. Opened Chrome, Toolbar was still there.
5. I looked in the Chrome extensions and saw it along with "Radio 1.12".

I was able to click the delete on both of them, restart Chrome and there was no toolbar.
I just don't trust it to be gone.

Funny thing, I Googled "PDFssoftware" and found nothing as well as here on BC.

Anyway, below are some screenshots I took of the offending toolbar.
Please advise one way or another.

Wow, it's pretty rare when a Google search turns up absolutely nothing. Can you still open that confirmation window? If so, try clicking on one of the links it has - whatever page shows up may tell you where the toolbar came from.

Good info Md2, thanks. Since the 'cleanup' my son fired up the laptop for just a minute, brought up Chrome and NO TOOLBAR. We did notice that the default web search was changed from Google to something like 'websearch123' (I'm wrong but it was meaningless to me at the time). The other thing in the extensions (in Chrome) was 'Radio 1.12' and the DID have a lot of hits on Google. All seems OK. But I'll post if more comes up on this specific topic.
Thanks again MD2.
