Optiplex is a business model, the higher the number the newer. The precision is a level above and is a workstation.

Having said that, no warranties/guarantees or returns do not buy. If they worked the seller would have loaded them with windows. They most likely came with XP and should have an XP product key /License on them. Thus the seller could have loaded them.

The key reason I would not buy is they guarantee nothing, no warranty or returns.
To me that says broken. Slight chance they bought them as a large lot and are not bothering to test.

Good Luck
Roger

Hi, Of the four these are the better ones.

Precision T5400 (32), 2 GHz Xeon, 4 GB Ram, 500 GB & 80 GB hard drive.$36.00
OptiPlex GX620 (56-62) 3.4 GHz Pentium 4, 1 GB Ram, 80 GB hard drive right now bid is $15.00
OptiPlex GX320 (29) 3.2 GHz Pentium 4, 2 GB Ram, 40 GB hard drive. $5.00

T5400 2Ghz but 4Gb Memory
GX620 3.4Ghz Pentium 4 but only 1Gb memory
GX320 3.2Ghz Pentium 4 2Gb memory but only 40Gb Hard Drive. I'd probably go with either of the first two. Depends on what OS. windows 7 probably the workstation.

If they are coming out of Government service they have most likely been Secure wiped to make sure nothing can be recovered from the hard drives. Where I used to work they used to buy computers that were coming off lease. They were always Secure wiped. Some of them still had warranty left. They paid a higher price of course.

Good Luck
Roger
