Do I need the Web Update Wizard, or can I eliminate it?

The file WebUpdateSvc.exe is located in the C:\windows\system32 folder and is 260 kb.

The following is an excerpt from file.net.

"Description:<b> WebUpdateSvc.exe is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. Known file sizes on Windows 7/XP are 266,240 bytes (60% of all occurrences), 204,800 bytes and 4 more variants. Posted Image <br style="color: rgb(2, 54, 80); The program has no visible window. WebUpdateSvc.exe is not a Windows system file. You can uninstall this program in the control panel. WebUpdateSvc.exe is able to hide itself and monitor applications. Therefore the technical security rating is 40% dangerous.You can uninstall the associated program (Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Web Update Wizard or ShowSim Pro)."
