My budget for the new computer is: $1,300 and under.

What are the primary uses for this computer: forum browsing, online gaming.

What software do you intend on using on the computer? Windows 7 would be preferred, I haven't tried Windows 8 but I haven't heard good things...

Do you play games? If so, what type of games? : guild wars 2, runescape, League of Legends, Sims 3,

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it?: I run multiple forum windows at once but only one game at a time with maybe a few things in the background.

Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer?: I would have around 1,200 songs and would like to store the pictures I take on my phone on my computer.

That computer is running Win8 and only has 2.0 USB ports? And running with an Intel® Core™ i7-3770 processor?

Seems like it should have at least some 3.0 ports.

The problem with the desktop is it has a very low end graphics card (GT620) and it will definitely not perform well in those games.

Do you have any suggestions? I know my sister got advised to buy a computer through this site, but the computer she has is discontinued. I'm hoping to get a computer and not have to tinker around with anything that's in it.

Also, I don't think that I need USB 3.0 ports for anything do I? I haven't ever used them before...

The best system that has the most powerful graphics card and is available at Best Buy is the iBuyPower GAMER EXTREME BB785SLCK which has the GTX660.

CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme 1378 - This has a 660TI graphics card which is a very very capable gaming card but at the moment it is out of stock, you could wait or get the previous system i suggested.

There's no guarantee when it will restock though. Thanks for all the suggestions. I keep looking at all of them over and over.

I am getting a lot of pressure to build my own, but I'm completely clueless and I'm not sure if it would be a good idea.

Also, I am a getting a lot of negative feedback about buying computers through best buy.. what's your opinion?

For what its worth, I wouldn't do a new computer without USB 3.

Sooner or later you will want to back it up to an external drive or free disk space or send files to a external drive. USB3 runs so much faster than USB2.

I have switched to only buying USB3 external storage devices.

I will keep my eyes open for ones with a USB 3. I've never had a problem with the USB 2 taking too long. I don't do much in the way of transferring data.
I'm still kind of torn over what computer to buy. I've heard that best buy over charges.. I'm not sure the value of that statement. I just want to make sure I'm getting the most for my money...

I would like to look for a new system. I plan on buying the monitor that I mentioned in my first post so I'm just looking for the desktop.
I am open to anything that costs about 1,100 or close to that. I am open to getting it through just about anywhere. Bestbuy, Newegg, etc. I would like somewhere that would put Windows 7 on it for me or offer that instead. If not that's okay too.

I want to order this computer as soon as possible. The more it costs the longer I would have to wait. :(

CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA420 - Very similar performance to the GTX660 but this has weaker processor which should be fine for gaming.

Would it be worth it to build a computer through ibuypower?

Sorry to prolong this but I am just not sold on the last one you showed me.
