I was using a DVD burning program and it failed with a write error. When I went back to try to burn the DVD at a slower speed, I noticed that the file had disappeared.. It was not in the recycle bin. I tried three programs to look for the file: Recuva, Undelete Plus and WinUndelete. It seems that each of them are unable to read a 3tb disk. Can someone help?

You can try using a program like Everything Search Engine - http://www.voidtools.com/ , to verify that it's not on any of your drives.

Wow!!! What a GREAT program. I found the master folder for the missing movie as a sub-folder for a different movie. I have no idea how this happened but all is fixed now. Thank you very much.

:thumbup2: , well done, happy computing :).

Generally, files don't disappear...but I've misplaced many :). That tool has helped me plenty.
