Hello,

When I click on Itunes I end up with a window that tells me that iTunes is either corrupted or not installed properly.

It suggests that I re-install iTunes.

My questions are: if I re-install iTunes will I lose all of my music files ?

Should I use add and remove to un-install the current program prior to downloading iTunes again ?

Thanks for any help you can give me !

Thanks for the reply. Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply back. My mouse quit working and than my keyboard crapped out. To top it off my monitor gave out.

I looked at the link you posted but did not see anything there that would help me. The information may be there but I could not find it. I am terrible at this sort of thing

It kinda of boils down to is this. I can not open Itunes nor can I remove it. The computer can not find it and neither can I.

Here are some screens shot of the windows I get when I try to open it and when I try to remove it.

Try Revo Uninstaller to remove it. If it's corrupted/damaged, Windows may not be able to read the uninstall files, thus the error messages that you received.

Then download/install the latest version of iTunes.

Hello hamluis !

About 20 minutes ago my Grand Niece (she is 11 yrs. old) called my home. She knows a bit about computers even at her young age.

I told her about my problem and she suggested that I download Microsoft Fix It and run the Install/Uninstall trouble shooting program. I did just that and it uninstalled iTunes.

I just downloaded and installed iTunes and things are working fine, so far.

Thanks for the reply.
