I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right area or not. If I didnt please let me know which area it should go in :)

I have been trying to fix this for some time now. Iím a chick that doesnít know a whole lot about computers but I have read a lot and I still have not been able to fix my problem based on other solutions offered on forums.

I had to restore my netbook clean. My netbook came with 2 discs, "SystemCD" and it is around 500MB in size and the other is the Acer recovery Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3. I installed the SystemCD which I thought it was the recovery CD but itís not. It is now stuck on a screen and is asking for the recovery disc which I donít have. I tried contacting Acer but they wonít help me.

Can anyone help? Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the actual recovery disc?

My netbook doesnít have a recovery partition, Alt & F10 do not work.

Please help
Thank you

Hi
What I would do is install the Acer recovery Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 disk.

Then I would use the computer you are on now to download all the drivers from the Acer website.

Chipset

Audio

LAN

Touchpad

VGA (Video)

Wireless

More to follow

The rest of these there are more than one due to possible more than one hardware used.

Cardreader

Liteon Camera

Suyin Camera

3G Option 3G Module Driver

3G QUALCOMM 3G Module Driver

Acer LaunchManager Application

Some of these may not be needed, for example unless you have the 3G option you don't need the driver.

Good Luck
