I have windows xp pro sp3 with current updates applied. Just last night I started having issues.
My internal sound card (conexant 221 HD/hp nvidia 630 board) will just change
the wave device to 0 volume. I used malwarebytes and trojan scanner with no real change (malware found 7 viruses).
I also have a usb sound blaster pro with current drivers and it too was changing to 0 at random on the wave device.
I am about to pull my hair out. Please someone help me. Before coming here I did a restore to two days ago when the problem wasn't happening.

Hi -
Can you please open the last Malwarebytes scan log and post it -
Along the top of the face of Malwarebytes is a tab with "Logs". Please open the scan with the 7 infections and post that log .

This may show what infections were removed, and if they are dangerous -

Thank You -
