Good day everyone. My name is Peter and I just this forum towards the end of August of this year. I have quite a bit of general computer knowledge. Both my parents have been working for IBM since I was born. My first computer was an IBM Aptiva x286 running OS/2! Then when my dad's office got new computers and were gonna toss the old ones, he came home with a x386 for me. Yay for work hand-me-downs. Anyways, I grew up with computers having experienced and messed around with DOS, MS-DOS 6.22, Windows 3.1, Prodigy, CompuServe, playing Door games on BBS (using the library computer no less lol), and I even taught myself QBASIC. Long story short, I'm 29 now and going to Marist College majoring in Computer Science. I hope I can focus all of these "general" computer knowledge, as I like to call it, into something more useful. I look forward to helping out whenever I can as well as learning even more for you all.

Pete
