My home computer is missing all of my files and folders under "my documents". The first time this happened I just did a search from the start menu and copied and pasted them back into my documents. However it seems like every few days they go missing. Now some are gone for good and I can't even search for them from the start menu. Need a lot of help. I'm also not computer literate so go easy on me!

Recuva is one program you may try to get these back >> http://www.piriform.com/recuva/download
Not sure why they are removing themselves every few days, unless you may have a minor infectin ??

Download, Install, and Update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
Run a full scan to see if any infection is found, and remove all found items, then reboot -

Thank you. I downloaded the Malwarebytes and there was only one detection which was titles Hijack. Funny thing is, I lost all the documents again today that I had done yesterday. Not sure what is going on. Will try the recuva dowload you suggested.
