Hi, I am new here posting, but have read and used info from these forums for years really. I have a dell inspiron N5110 running windows 7, about a year old. I use Google chrome for my primary browser, mostly play Zynga games, do homework/research, shop on QVC and Amazon. I run AVG antivirus automatically every day. Lately, having a lot of lag online, even difficult to just open a web page if I have closed the browser, it seems to be since I got my comcast internet and the tech had me go to the website and load all this comcast software. I use a secure wireless connection at home, occasional unsecure use at work, primarily to access blackboard for school. I have hijackthis, and a current log file, would like to know if anyone can help, and after that, what can I run to help protect my computer better. I am finishing a Masters degree and cannot have a dead computer!! I don't really know my way around posting in the forums, so if some one can direct me to the appropriate place to post, I would appreaciate it, and if there is any more info I need to provide to help you help me. I also have this creepy add bar that pops up when I am on zynga that seems to know what I was shopping for on Macy's last night... Ad choices. creepy.
