Just an FYI...

You can use a HOSTS file to block ads, banners, 3rd party Cookies, 3rd party page counters, web bugs, and even most hijackers. This is accomplished by blocking the Server that supplies these little gems.

I have used siljaline's HOSTS file for 4 months now and have never had an any problems with it.

Appreciate the compliment and your success in using the HOSTS File though, it is not my file.
I have some limited input to the file but again, it not owned or compiled by me.
