Some fonts on webpages aren't displaying properly. Either they become jumbled up symbols like in the Strava screenshot attached (when I copy and paste these symbols, they show up as the correct text), or look different like the Tumblr screenshot (extra thin).

I've tried resetting Chrome settings (particularly, font/encoding options) by deleting my entire user profile folder, uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome, and trying the beta channel. Everything displays properly on other applications and the same websites are fine in Internet Explorer.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I have been laid low by the flu.

Are you still having the issue?

When you tried changing the encoding, did you change it to western iso-8559 or UTF-8?

Yes I'm still having the issue. I've tried changing the encoding, and the same Chrome profile (synced from Google Account) on another Windows 8 PC does not have this issue. I think that this might not be only a Chrome issue, it happens when viewing the EULA for iTunes and a few other small occurrences other than Chrome.
