I bought a Creative Sound Blaster X-fi Go! Pro portable external USB sound card at Best Buy for $40 that I was going to use in place of a DAC (Digital Analog Converter) for use with my headphones and laptop and was wondering if there is a better alternative to that either price wise or functional wise out there? I don't really need the THX Tru Studio Pro specification, 3D Headphones Surround Sound specification, VoiceFX morph your voice specification that it has built into it. I was just looking for a simple, inexpensive 24-Bit or 16-Bit DAC and that's all they had on their shelf.

Thank you
