I'm trying unsuccessfully to use Terminal on my Mac.

My opening prompt is Bash 3.2

Most examples I see the prompt says "Welcome to" and a name/whatever.

How do I get to the Welcome to PROMPT because the prompt BASH 3.2, whatever that is, gets me nowhere?
