To Change The Default Font For Windows Xp

It is possible to change the default font for windows xp.This option is not available in display properties under appearence tab,advance.
item windows is dimmed.
How can windows text font(font for folder name ) and size can be changed.

Right above the greyed out Font selection there is a drop down 'item' menu. Make a selection in the drop down menu, and if 'fonts' are relevant to that particular item you will be able to change it.

The reason it is greyed out is you must have an item selected that 'fonts' are not a part of.

I hope that answers you question, not sure.
