Just an old fart that remembers languages like fortran, card readers, CPM based, the first apple, 8088s, the first hard drives (Hey now, 10 megs beat the crap out of switching floppies all the time). Had basically an example of most PC advances since... still have most of the machines too for that matter... they're in our museum (i.e the attic), most still work.

Last machine I built is a 2.8 HT Intel, 1G Ram, raptor, does ok but need an improvement on the graphics card.

Just here to learn now and then when problems arise and possibly help others... becarefull now... old farts see things differently sometimes.

Later.

Welcome to BC, DEM
Advice, with the perspective of long arduous progressive improvements having been "lived through'
is always appreciated by fellow members. Stick around, check out the many features here.
Post when you like and generally make yourself at home.
As you well know, PCs will come & PCs will go,
