Was a computer geek back in the '80s, but lost interest after DOS 5.0  Still a hard-core user, running SolidWorks CAD, spreadsheets, Quicken, IE etc. Got a home network, where my computer is hardwired, and my wife's and daughter's laptops and our Roku player are wireless.
I usually take my hardware to a local shop when it gets infected, mainly because I have more time than money, although I have very little of either. But I thought it might be fun to join up with you fine folks to see what you can do for me, and hopefully I can offer some stimulating challenges and mindless banter  in return.
