Over the past few weeks my computer has sporadically been crashing to a BSOD when left idle, and it's now starting to happen more and more frequently. The bug check string listed in Blue Screen View is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and it also says it is caused by the driver ntoskrnl.exe. I have done some research and it seems as though this BSOD has something to do with the RAM, but I ran Memtest86 yesterday and it reported no errors.

I would really appreciate any help I can get. If you need any more info don't hesitate to ask. My specs are posted below.

Please download BlueScreenView BlueScreenView

No installation required.

Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

The Blue Screen View confirms that the ntoskrnl.exe as the cause. And I'm sure from what you've read that you realize that Microsoft is pretty vague in just what the problem is. I could be RAM, or another hardware device, or it could be a driver. The hardware is usually the easier to check out, and you've already started with the RAM.

I know that you've already run Memtest86 and found no errors, but I would like you to try one other test. Remove one of the RAM modules and see if the problem persists, then switch modules and try it in the same socket. While you are in there see if the heat sink and fan assembly on the CPU clear of dust.

I noticed in the speccy log that your rail voltages are all low, low enough to be concerned about.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Okay, I'll remove one RAM stick, then try the other and report back after a few days to see if I still get the BSOD, and I'll check out my CPU fan and clear it of dust.

And what exactly does the low rail voltages mean, I'm not really familiar with that? Could that be related to this problem or is it something completely different?

The PSU (Power Supply Unit) has different voltages, these are known as "rail voltages". The main rail voltages are the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V. There also is a -5V as well.

The Minimum and Maximum are shown below.

Value..........Min...........Max.

+3.3V.........+3.26V.......+3.33V

+5V............+4.92V.......+5.00V

+12V..........+11.97V.....+12.16V
